Kristen Jacobsen
A consultant with Catalyst Consulting Team since 1989, Kristen works with Bay Area organizations on team and leadership development and on aligning people around organizational vision and strategy. Her areas of expertise include building productive (versus defensive) conversations, defining vision and strategy, and executive coaching.
Client engagements include: eBay, Cisco, Autodesk, Hewlett Packard, Levi Strauss, Sun, Gilead Sciences, Cadence, Applied Materials, Intuit, Netflix, Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, and The American Leadership Forum. Kristen also works with a wide variety of nonprofit and government organizations.
Kristen earned her master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Sciences from The Leadership Institute of Seattle, and pursued six years of advanced productive dialogue training with Action Design for skills. Her education continues through her involvement with Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, where she staffs Executive Leadership, Interpersonal Skills and Leadership Coaching courses.
She lives in Aptos, California (near Santa Cruz) enjoying her teenage son and eleven-year-old daughter. She enjoys mountain and ocean sports, music, dance, and tropical water.
