Tony Reilly
Tony brings twenty-five years of expertise and passion to
the organizations he serves. His professional mission is to create safe and
competently facilitated learning environments where individuals, groups,
and organizations develop their talents and skills to the best of their potential.
Tony has taught at several universities, including the University of Michigan,
where he taught graduate students and served as a member of the graduate faculty.
He has experience as an industrial psychologist at a major pharmaceutical firm,
working primarily with scientists and engineers. Tony designed and developed
their management and executive coaching processes, teambuilding sessions, and
leadership development programs.
Following the academic and internal consulting parts of his career,
Tony worked with numerous clients as an external consultant.
Currently he spends the majority of his time serving technology companies
as well as organizations in the nonprofit sector. In the past ten years,
he has designed and conducted more than 100 workshops in the U.S., Canada,
Mexico, Europe, Australia, and in East and Southeast Asia.
Tony's recent and current engagements include:
- Designing and facilitating leadership development workshops for managers and
executives in three global technology companies.
- Designing and facilitating a statewide collaboration project for teachers,
administrators, and community leaders, the objective of which is to better
the lives and education of children from birth to four years of age.
- Designing and implementing executive team sessions in six companies that
integrate strategic planning with the development of the team's human assets.
- Designing and implementing a leadership development program for individuals
with professional careers in the areas of alcohol and substance abuse.
The development program is a three-year personal and professional effort to
enhance leadership talents and skills at the national level, funded by a major foundation.
Tony partnered with colleagues in designing the pilot program, provides coaching and
support to the fellows, and designs several meetings a year which the fellows attend.
In all of his work, Tony customizes each engagement to meet specific client needs by
partnering closely with his clients. His commitment is to establish and to nurture
trust-based relationships with each person he serves. Together with his spouse,
Joanne, Tony lives, works, and enjoys life in Boulder, Colorado.
